We feature 18-holes of Lake Worth golf that is ideal for all levels of golfers and is designed to help you improve your game. Whether you’re looking for cheap golf in the West Palm beach area or for affordable golf lessons, our picturesque golf course will allow you to focus on your golf game and leave the distractions of life behind. You will be able to test your skills with our long fairways on our 3 par 5 and 4 par 4, multiple water hazards and strategically placed sand traps. The Poinciana Golf Club offers an assortment of quality facilities. We feature a full service Pro Shop with an assortment of merchandise. We have a delicious restaurant “Ciana Cafe” for you golfers who want to grab a bite before or after your round of golf. We are equipped with a net where you can sharpen your skills or take a lesson from our golf professional, Jack GALE.

Jack Gale, PGA Master Professional

Jack Gale turned golf professional in 1972 after graduating from WPI with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1970. Jack played golf collegiately at WPI serving as Captain his senior year. He began his career as an Assistant Professional at Green Hill in Worcester, MA for one year and then moved to Holden (MA) Hills CC working for two seasons. Jack secured his first Head Professional position in 1975 at Rochester (NH) CC where he remained for seven years. Jack became a PGA member on June 1, 1976. In 1982 Jack became the Head Professional at Tatnuck CC in Worcester serving the club for twenty-one seasons. In 1999 he was elected Secretary-Treasurer of the NEPGA, President in 2001 and Honorary President in 2003. In 2003 Jack was named the Head Professional at the Dublin (NH) Lake Club serving the club for eleven seasons. During this time period Jack taught spring and fall at Cyprian Keyes GC in Boylston, MA and since 2014 has taught full time there. Since 2012 Jack has worked during the winter months as the PGA Teaching Professional at Poinciana Golf Club in Lake Worth, FL. From 2010-2014 Jack served as one of the four PGA members nationally on the PGA of America’s Board of Control and will return for two more years in November, 2016.

Jack became the NEPGA’s first and the PGA of America’s thirty-eighth PGA Master Professional on October 28, 1987. In 1991 Jack was named NEPGA Teacher of the Year and in 1993 the Section’s Professional of the Year. Jack had his PGA Master Professional Thesis was published in a condensed version in Golf Shop Operations magazine, has had twenty-six other articles published in magazines including PGA Magazine, Inside Worcester, Golf Pro Merchandiser, The Golf Club, The Country Club, Insurance Conference Planner, North Magazine, Golf Shop Operations, Worcester Magazine, New England Golf and NEPGA Annual Magazine and wrote golf tips and lessons in the Boston Globe on seventy-three occasions and in the Worcester Telegram.

Jack won the NEPGA Pro-Lady on six occasions with his wife, Mary, NEPGA Pro-Pro Stroke Play, NEPGA Pro-Pro Match Play and NEPGA Senior-Junior on three occasions. His biggest individual win was in the 2004 Sam Sylvia Nantucket Boys and Girls Club Pro-Am at Sankaty Head.

In 1974 Jack married Mary Carr. They proudly have a family of three sons, Joe, Mike and Dan, daughter-in-law Luci and grandson, Max.
